Just thought I would share part of this funny/sick/sad/clever fundraising-type email I received today taking a good jab at the Kochtopus...
"There’s a new predator on the loose at the Columbus Zoo...
It’s called the Kochtopus (O. billionairis), it has a voracious appetite, and sticks its many tentacles into U.S. Senate races and local issues alike. And while the Kochtopus usually picks on other creatures its own size -- including Senators like Sherrod -- this time, it went after the Columbus Zoo.
Typically, the Kochtopus releases an inky cloud of untraceable cash before devouring an elected office whole. With its imposing size and its continent-spanning hunting range, the Kochtopus is capable of defeating smaller entities before the prey even knows what’s happening.
But despite its size, scientists assure me that the Kochtopus can be brought down by organized, committed, grassroots activists -- and luckily, I know a few people who fit that description."
